About me

I'm Dr. Kaitlyn Trainor/Kait the Chiro/Kaitlyn - you can call me whatever feels right.

To be completely honest, I feel a bit weird writing a bio about myself. But here it goes.

I was born and raised in Charlottetown, PEI.  After graduating from high school, I studied at UPEI for three years before heading to Toronto to study at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College for 4 years.  From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare - aside from the brief period when I wanted to be Taylor Swift.  After looking into the various careers in healthcare, chiropractic seemed like the best fit.  I fell in love with the hands-on nature of this career and the fact that I get to see people's lives improve.

Since graduating in 2020, I noticed a gap in the healthcare system when it comes to babies and new parents.  When they're looking for answers for their babies, they aren't sure where to turn or who can help.  As luck would have it, I've always had a love for little ones and have taken continuing education courses related to the treatment of pediatric conditions like birth injuries, torticollis, plagiocephaly, tongue ties, and so on.  When something works, word of mouth spreads quickly, and I am so happy to be of service when parents are looking for answers.

Another part of my job that I love is educating my community on Instagram.  I post a lot about babies and mamas, so it's no wonder I'm often asked if I only treat those populations. The answer is no, I treat all ages & I aim to offer an inclusive environment to people from any age group or walk of life.
